Floor layer / tiler – Belgium
Can you lay tiles? Then we can teach you the rest.
Do you already have some experience with tiling and do you like working with your hands? Then you are welcome at Technicarro-CAP.
You don’t need to know everything already. We mainly look at what you can do today, how you work and whether you are motivated to learn.
What you will do
You help install floor and wall coverings on professional construction projects. Depending on your experience, your tasks may include:
- laying ceramic floor and wall tiles;
- bonding and grouting tiles;
- fitting skirting and profiles;
- preparing substrates;
- helping with setting out and starting tiling work;
- finishing wall tiling and sanitary areas;
- working on stairs, larger tile formats and other special finishes.
Haven’t done it all yet? No problem. You work alongside experienced colleagues and site managers. Whatever you don’t know yet, you can learn with us on site.
Who we are looking for
We are not looking for a tiler who can do everything, but for someone with a good foundation, the right work attitude and the drive to get better at the trade. You are a good fit if:
- you already have some experience with tiling, flooring or a similar job in construction;
- you work accurately and like to deliver good-looking work;
- you are motivated and reliable;
- you enjoy working with colleagues;
- you are willing to learn new techniques;
- you speak Dutch, French or English.
A category B driving licence is a plus. Beyond that, we don’t ask for much: you can read and write, and you really want to work.
No detailed CV needed
If you have experience with tiling and like to do good work, we want to get to know you. Just send us an email with your name and phone number and tell us briefly what you have done so far. Julie De Decker from HR & Recruitment will get in touch with you.
You can also use the application form on the Dutch version of this vacancy.
This vacancy is also available in Dutch, French and Romanian.
What don’t you need to know yet?
When you start, you don’t need to be able to organise a complete site on your own. Nor do you need to be a specialist in XXL tiles, Kerlite, natural stone, stairs, terraces, waterproofing or complex laying plans.
Do you have a good foundation as a tiler? Then we’ll gladly teach you the tricks of the trade.
Not a complete tiler yet?
- Have you, for example, worked alongside an experienced tiler for a few years?
- Can you bond and lay tiles, but have you never set out a site yourself?
- Are you good at floor tiling, but less experienced with wall tiles or stairs?
Then feel free to apply. We would rather have someone who likes to work and wants to learn than someone who meets twenty requirements on paper.
What do we offer?
- A permanent contract and job security.
- Fair and punctual pay based on your knowledge, experience and commitment.
- Meal vouchers.
- Sites located in your region wherever possible.
- Guidance from experienced colleagues and site managers.
- The opportunity to learn new installation techniques.
- Varied projects and materials.
- An informal working atmosphere with short lines of communication.
- Work where, at the end of the day, you can see what you have made.
At Technicarro-CAP, the managing director and site managers stay close to the people on site. With us, you are not a number.

Not sure if you have enough experience?
Are you thinking: “I can’t do everything described above yet”? You don’t have to.
